Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for aComputer Systems Analyst 3to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in El Segundo, CA.
Develops Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) that address Environmental, Safety, Health and Medical (ESHM) requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.
Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.
Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
Gathers ESHM user feedback to modify and improve system capabilities as needed.
Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years of programing experience; OR Masters degree in STEM with 3 years of programing experience
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g., Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with programming languages including Visual Basic, C#, Java, SharePoint
Experience working with SQLServer or other relational databases
Experience with .NET framworks
Experience programming web based applications and ESHM compliance database systems
Experience working with Environmental Management Information Systems (EMIS) such as chemical tracking, chemical review, industrial hygiene tracking, audit tracking, etc.
Understanding how to perform all functions in the software development life cycle (specification, analysis, design, coding, testing, maintenance, support, and documentation)
