Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Reviews site survey results and letters of offer and acceptance and formulates specific recommendations for spare/repair parts for support equipment. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories. May originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel. May forecast and manage budget systems. Overseeing the maintenance of aircraft ground support equipment. Monitoring and ensuring that scheduled calibrations and equipment maintenance and inspections are accomplished. Coordinating repairs for all assigned AGSE. Establish a maintenance schedule for all assigned AGSE. Perform initial certification and verification of AGSE. Assist with site stand-up efforts for AGSE operations.
At least 10 Years Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) experience with Bachelors in Science or in lieu of the formal degree, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and 14 years AGSE maintenance experience.
Understanding and experience in all facets of AGSE maintenance and aircraft Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE)
Manage scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and calibrations of support equipment.
Active DoD Secret clearance with background investigation completed within last five years; with the ability to maintain.
Ability to obtain a Special Access Clearance within 365 days of offer acceptance
Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions to complex problems.
Can read and interpret CAD models and engineering documents
Experience with public speaking
Able to perform work in an approved environment during specified work hours
Ability to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel)
Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions.
Valid Drivers License
At least 20 years of AGSE experience to inlcude the maintnance, overhaul, troubleshooting, and inspections of: diesel / electric PAO carts, diesel / electric air condtioners, diesel / electric hydraulic test stands, diesel / electricl bomblifts, diesel operated generator sets, gas turbine compressor sets, nitrogen / cryogenic servicing carts, non-powered support equipment etc.
Experience performing verifications and validations (form, fit, function) on peculiar support equipment.
Experience as a AGSE Production Supervisor.
Extensive expirience with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101, and Technical Orders (T.O.) 00-20-1 and 35-1-3.
Experience with CPLM program & Team Center.
Extensive expirence with maintenance databases (FMT, ALIS, IMDS, G081, etc).
Experience with Air Force flight line operations and the ability to obtain a flight line driver's certification.
Experience with dispatch, delivery, and servicing of AGSE.
