The Systems Integration Mgr 2 is responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to a team of 12-15 engineers and technicians across multiple engineering topics at the platform level. The manager will be required to be competent in multiple platform subsystems across the mission performance, as well as having competencies in systems engineering tasks to understand the requirements, interfaces, design, and achievement of mission execution. Daily activities include overseeing the projects and tasks assigned to the technical team and ensuring achievement of schedule, technical, and operational goals. This role is expected to support and implement the systems engineering processes, policies, and make recommendations to modify or update those policies back to the Functional Homeroom (FHR). This role will act as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget and have frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning operations or scheduling. Responsible for briefing and participating in technical meetings across all disciplines.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 9 years of relevant experience; or a Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with 7 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in systems architecture, infrastructure, or subsystem design activities

  • An active in-scope DoD Secret clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain program access

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or Advanced Degree in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Systems Engineering experience, training, and/or certification

  • Leadership experience managing a segment of a program or function

  • Experience in with system or sub-system requirements

  • Experience supporting system design or integration (e.g., crossing sub-systems)

  • Experience in Interface Control Document (ICD) development

  • An active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearance

  • Current active program access

Salary Range: $156,500 - $234,700

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
