Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team by overseeing the administration and development of classified security programs while protecting proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Preparing Standard Operating Procedures outlining requirements for handling and protecting classified information and assets.

  • Maintaining records for granting access to restricted areas, information and materials. Collaborating with leadership and team members to identify and resolve program deficiencies.

  • Conducting security education classes, briefings, and audits applicable to unique security environments.

  • Working closely with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations.

  • Conducting self-inspections and security audits.

  • Acting as the liaison to the Customer ensuring adverse reporting compliance.

  • Overseeing security compliance for both local and off-site program locations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience or a Master's degree and 8 years of experience or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Ability to lead a diverse team of multi-disciplined Industrial Security professionals.

  • Experience maintaining and interpreting Standard Operating Procedures, Security Plans, Concept of Operations, System Security Plans and the like.

  • Proficient in understanding and applying DoD SAP Manuals and JSIG guidance to daily operations.

  • Experience with the policies and procedures for classified document marking, protection, storage, transmittal, and destruction.

  • Ability to perform daily tasks with minimal oversight and problem solve in an efficient, security-minded manner, while recognizing when to defer to management.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.

  • Must maintain a valid U.S. passport and be willing to accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location.

  • Must comply with mobility immunization requirements and meet medical requirements for worldwide travel.

  • US Citizenship required.

  • Active Top Secret DoD clearance required.

  • The ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

  • Skilled in providing security-relevant training and briefings

  • Strong Physical Security background

  • Experience with drafting and managing Fixed Facility Checklists

  • COMSEC experience to include equipment and key inventory and management

  • Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet iterative deadlines
