Northrop Grumman Defense System is seeking a Principal Logistics Planner (level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Edwards CA.
The Principal Logistics Planner employee will analyze technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Reviews site survey results and letters of offer and acceptance and formulates specific recommendations for spare/repair parts and support equipment. Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories. May originate support plans for offer to potential customers and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel. May forecast and manage budget system. Additionally, the selected candidate may receive additional training and be cross utilized into aircraft maintenance management to ensure all equipment assigned are regularly maintained.
Bachelors degree and 6 years of Logistics Planner experience; Masters and 4 years for relevant experience; 10 years of relevant job experience may be considered in lieu of education
Must have experience with aviation or aerospace industry
Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters for a period up to 120 days away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.
Must meet medical requirements for worldwide travel, which include a physical.
Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance and be able to maintain that clearance and has the ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.

Aviation or aerospace operational experience is preferred over manufacturing or production, but all candidates will be considered.
