The Staff Business Systems Analyst position plays an essential role in the implementation and maintenance of an integrated program management system.
This position provides subject matter expertise in the following areas:
Analyze, evaluate, modify, configure, test and implement business system tools and processes on complex space system programs in an Earned Value Management environment.
Tool implementation, documentation, training and configuration support, providing solutions for the business management user community.
Coordination of system upgrades, enhancements or maintenance with program business teams and enterprise IT support.
Provide support to a broad set of custom and third-party tools, including Cobra, Empower, wInsight, SharePoint, Cognos and other business tool applications including VBA applications.
Provide centralized support to multiple teams and users to ensure consistent process definition, implementation, output and deliverables through process design, solution analysis and implementation, maintenance, and support.
The selected candidate will possess the following skills:
Ability to interpret changing industry and Government requirements and best practices and to develop solutions to meet changing needs, in collaboration with other business process subject matter experts.
Ability to develop and document detailed process documentation and training material to support new users' introduction and continued reference material for experienced users.
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to maximize effective use of business processes and tools.
Driven to follow through to find solutions utilizing technical discovery.
13 years' combined experience in the following:
Experience with deployment of business system tools and processes in an EIA-748 compliant Earned Value Management environment.
Training development and delivery to a wide range of practitioners, including business and program management teams.
Deployment and maintenance of database applications such as Deltek Cobra, with a focus on setup, implementation, processes and configuration at the user interface level. Includes experience with data structures, user interfaces, SQL databases and queries.
Must have an active and current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Experience with DCMA data-driven surveillance metrics and associated tools and processes.
Experience with developing and maintaining VBA applications for business applications.
Experience with all Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and Access and Visio.
Experience with SQL databases and queries.
Experience with SharePoint, Nintex and workflow creation.
