Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the sector's Financial Planning and Analysis team. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supporting and consolidating financial results, forecast, and annual operating plan (AOP).
Performing various analyses (forecast vs actuals, forecast vs plan, plan vs plan) for Senior leadership.
Preparing and supporting monthly financial reports for multiple internal and external groups.
Providing forecasting guidance and support to Space Sector Divisions.
Supporting various executive presentations and additional ad-hoc reporting, as needed.
Helping implement and championing new financial planning tool across the Sector.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (or a related field) from an accredited institution with 9+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 7+ years of related professional experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with financial systems (i.e., TM1, Cognos, CostPoint, SAP, Hyperion Planning, HFM).
Strong PC skills and proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, multi-task and work under tight deadlines.
Ability to reassess priorities and adapt as required.
US citizenship is a prerequisite.
Advanced degree and/or a CPA.
Aerospace/Defense Industry experience.
Balance sheet and cash forecasting experience.
