Northrop Grumman Space Systems has openings for Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analysts to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. These positions support critical programs in the Tactical Space Division's Space Security portfolio. These positions will be located in Dulles, VA.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Leading all aspects of financial management on programs, including forecasting, planning, estimate-at-complete (EAC) maintenance, program control/Earned Value Management (EVMS), and ad hoc analyses and reporting.
Setting up cost control systems, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system (Earned Value Management).
Performing analyses and preparing reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Preparing budgets for contract work and performing and/or assisting in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
Leading program Estimate at Complete (EAC) process and perform EAC maintenance and analyses for program and executive leadership.
Ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
Producing monthly customer reporting and internal monthly financials.
Serving as a primary resource for financial reporting, including internal and external reporting of program management reviews (PMRs) and contractual deliverables.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
5 years of experience working in program finance, financial analysis and/or contracts.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) producing IPMR Formats 1-7.
A current Interim Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Aerospace/defense industry experience.
Deltek Cobra experience. (Deltek Microframe Program Manager experience will be considered)
Costpoint and/or Cognos experience.
Experienced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience with Internal and/or Joint Surveillance Reviews (ISR/JSR) and resulting Corrective Action Requests and Plans (CARs/CAPs).
