The candidate will implement the industrial security program in compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 Manuals, DoD Manual 5105.21-M-1, Intelligence Community Directive 705, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Security Classification Guide(s).

The candidate will be responsible for multiple contractual program efforts. Duties will include; but are not limited to, providing day-to-day support to the management and technical staff; writing Standard Operating Procedures; conducting annual self-inspections; submitting personnel for access; maintaining personnel security records; conducting initial and annual refresher training; performing termination debriefs; maintaining document control accountability; completing Fixed Facility Checklists/TEMPEST addendum; performing security violation investigations; transferring classified material; submitting foreign travel notifications; and sending visit authorization notifications.

The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently; be customer service oriented; possess strong written and verbal communications skills; have strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret government security policies and apply them to program operations.

Desired qualifications:

Prior industrial security experience preferably within the DoD SAP environment. Experience supporting program security operations in a SCI or SAP environment as well. Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD 5205.07 Manuals, ICD 705, or similar government security guidelines.

  • Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.

  • Must have a professional demeanor, good people skills, and ability to communicate effectively, and be able to perform in a multi-tasked, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to work independently to identify, assess & resolve unique security situations with innovative solutions geared to facilitate contract performance within the bounds of security requirements.

  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on clear and cogent presentation of complex information.

Qualifications:

Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of security experience, or 9 years of security experience total in lieu of a degree

  • Must have current/active Top Secret security clearance and must be able to obtain SAP eligibility

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the DoD SAP Manuals, ICDs and TEMPEST.

  • Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the DoD SAP Manuals & ICD series manuals.

Sr Principal Industrial Security Analyst Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 9 years of security experience, or 13 years of security experience total in lieu of a degree

  • Must have current/active Top Secret security clearance and must be able to obtain SAP eligibility

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the DoD SAP Manuals, ICDs and TEMPEST.

  • Ability to apply the foregoing knowledge of government security requirements in a complex multi-level secure environment to ensure program compliance in non-routine situations.

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the DoD SAP Manuals & ICD series manuals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
