Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking multiple Sr. Principal Field Engagement Engineers to support the Revolutionary IT Services program at the US Army Corps of Engineers in the following locations: Vicksburg MS, Dallas TX, or Cincinnati, OH.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Oversees and manages the operational and technical execution of ongoing Division / District innovation and transformation initiatives serving as liaison between the Division Enterprise Managers and the Strategic Transformation Planning Team.
Is the primary point of contact, keeping lines of communication open, and actively engaged in Division / District IT Chief collaboration and feedback on innovation / transformation performance to close gaps.
Participates in one or more Agile teams engaged in the identification, implementation, or modification of transformative initiatives.
Identifies and recommends innovations and service delivery changes to get feedback and to support Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives throughout the geographically dispersed sites.
Supports scoping of TDLs and implementation of TDPs; helps customer understand the value of the changes.
Provide customer insights, leadership and guidance to cross-functional matrix teams. Coordinate to enable effective delivery and efficient use of strategic planning services.
Maintain alignment of technical field activities to the RITS technology (IT) strategies, ensuring that services are implemented and supportive of those strategies and that they deliver value to customers and are an effective use of budget.
Assess transformation technical issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve services and systems integration by reducing redundancy and cost, while at the same time increasing productivity of the digital engineer.
Continually evaluate technical services to determine opportunities for consolidations, efficiencies, shared solutions across the enterprise. Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma to drive operational efficiency in to services.
STEM-related Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8 years -OR- Masters and a minimum of 6 years demonstrated experience leading technical delivery of Enterprise / Cloud IT and/or IT Services to enterprise customers.
Demonstrated experience working on customer site with matrixed and virtual teams.
Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, architecture, engineering, design, presentation and human relations skills required. Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise compute, network, and / or storage solutions on premise or in the cloud.
Demonstrated strong judgment, decision-making skills, and business acumen.
Ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.
Strong knowledge of the Enterprise services portfolio, and experience working with and communicating effectively with executive and Command leadership.
Active Secret security clearance and US citizenship required.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/ Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE) or similar commercial cloud platform and infrastructure certification preferred.
Certification in Agile processes - Scaled Agile Framework preferred.
Certification in Lean and / or Six Sigma processes.
