Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Technician 2 based out of Promontory, UT.

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work on the SLS/BOLE and other programs doing sample casting of propellant. This job involves the preparation of 5" CP cases and sample containers for propellant casting using a variety of methods and processes such as solvent cleaning, glass beading and assembly of these test articles. Other job duties includes cleaning and flashing of large motor casting cores. It will require development of skills to competently perform tasks designed to produce product that meet our customer expectations. Tasks may be in team environments or individual based.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing environment

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work flexible/changing schedules and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Energetic Operations

  • Previous manufacturing, or production experience

  • Demonstrated ability using standard measuring equipment and power hand tools

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures

Salary Range: $41,000 - $68,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
