Northrop Grumman Information Systems Project Manager in Corinne, Utah

The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) Sector is seeking an Information Systems Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse leaders in our ES Project Management Office that supports our Space Systems Sector. This role will report to the Manager, Project Management and will be located in our Promontory, UT office. This role may require travel of at least 10%.

Specific responsibilities for the Principal Information Systems Project Manager are:

• Serve as a Project Manager in support of the Space Systems Sector with oversight for all projects and their requirements

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Project Management to both Program Managers and their customers and teams

• Act as the customer liaison between sector customers and project/program leadership

• Manage all scheduling for a single project, change management, risk management, and cost management requirements for assigned project(s)

• Own any optimization, or other remediation work assigned by the program manager

• Execute any ad hoc duties as assigned

The Senior Principal Information Systems Project Manager will perform all duties previous listed as well as:

• Provide leadership to junior project managers on shared projects, overall direction, and oversight for all projects and their requirements

• Own the Earned Value Management requirements for each project

• Manage integrated master schedule for the project portfolio

• Brief difficult technical solutions in a layman style to senior leaders within customer and program leadership

• Ability to draw on future technology trends to ensure that customers are considering the strongest solution for their needs

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications for the Principal Level:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 3 years relevant experience. (Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement; Example: 4 additional years of experience with a HS Diploma; 2 years additional experience with an Associate's degree)

• Active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Power Point, and Excel.

• Experience leading project assignments

• Problem solving with the integrated team including but not limited to the program manager, functional managers, and customers

Basic Qualifications for the Sr. Principal Level:

• Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 7 years relevant experience. (Appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement; Example: 4 additional years of experience with a HS Diploma; 2 years additional experience with an Associate's degree)

• Active DoD Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SAP/SAR access

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including: Word, Power Point, and Excel.

• Experience leading project portfolio including multiple project assignments

• Problem solving with integrated team including but not exclusive to the program manager, functional managers, and customers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills

• Experience leveraging project management tools to present project data like status, risk and deliverables to key stakeholders

• Full cycle experience working IT Infrastructure projects

• PMP Certification

• AGILE and/or SCRUM Certification
