Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Software Test Engineer3/4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Columbia, MD. The Test Engineer will develop and implement test strategies, plans, and procedures, conduct integration and system tests, write discrepancy reports, and prepare test reports.

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on the qualifications below.

This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 or a Level 4.

BQ's for a Level 3 are:

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Software Development or Software Verification including developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and procedures, and conducting integration and systems test.

Experience with Linux

Experience with automated test methods

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing and preparing technical documentation including test reports

BQ's for a Level 4 are:

Basic Qualifications:

9+ years of experience in Software Development or Software Verification including developing and implementing test strategies, plans, and procedures, and conducting integration and systems test.

Experience with Linux

Experience with automated test methods

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience writing and preparing technical documentation including test reports

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar environments may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
