Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Cyber System Engineer based out of Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
The selected candidate is expected to apply working knowledge of the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation (T&E) Guidebook, DODI 8500.01, and NIST SP 800-53 guidance throughout various phases of the cybersecurity T&E lifecycle.
Expected to work in close collaboration with System Owners, Program Office staff, test community, and other technical Functional Areas to ensure the relevance of architecture and system designs in implementing program Cybersecurity requirements.
The candidate will report to the System Test Cross Functional Product Team (CFPT) Product Owner and work directly with the Task Order Program Manager, Cyber Test & Evaluation Lead, and Cyber and Systems Engineering lead.
Travel may be required between Colorado Springs and Huntsville to support Customer meetings and Program Milestones.
An active Secret clearance is required.
9 Years with Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field; 7 years' experience with Master's degree.
Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
Experience and knowledge of Cybersecurity technologies, NIST standards, and RMF governance.
Experience in the Cybersecurity Lifecycle to include: requirements, design, development, integration, test, implementation and deployment
Experience and knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and requirements that are relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication and non-repudiation
Understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures and communications system concepts and mission
Ability to plan, coordinate, prepare and present cyber-system test products and clearly communicate these concepts across a broad spectrum of audiences, including high level Missile Defense Agency (MDA), DoD and C2BMC National Team (C2NT) staffs.
Candidate must have experience with DoD cybersecurity test methodologies and terminologies
Candidate must have experience participating in system test events.
Previous experience planning and executing cyber test activities with external agencies required.
Previous experience working with Missile Defense mission systems.
Familiarity with performing sprint tasks in an Agile execution structure.
Systems Engineering, Network Design and/or Software Development backgrounds are a plus.
Experience with operational MDA systems (e.g., C2BMC, GMD, Aegis, THAAD, Patriot, SBIRS, ADSI), message standards and formats (e.g., Link-16, TADIL-J, MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, VMF), and/or off-the-shelf engineering tools packages (e.g., MATLAB, DOORS, ClearQuest) a plus.

Salary Min: $114,080
Salary Max: $171,120
