Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Sim/Stim Product Owner based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

What You'll get to Do:

As Product Owner of a Modeling and Simulation scrum team focused on Simulation and Stimulation (Sim/Stim), the successful applicant will own the scrum team's work backlog and prioritize development of M&S tools and products to support the development of C2BMC software. The Sim/Stim team focuses on the development and integration of scenarios that test specific capabilities of the BMDS using threat data, blue/red force laydowns, and other related information. The product owner will collaborate with members of other C2BMC Product Teams, C2BMC leadership, MDA customers, technical SMEs, as well as leadership of other BMDS Element programs in order to identify and refine M&S product requirements.


Basic Qualifications:

  • An active Secret clearance is required.

  • 9 years of experience with Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, or 7 years' with a Masters degree; or 13 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Applicant must have a broad engineering background that covers a variety of disciplines, including systems engineering, data analysis, software development/integration/delivery, automated testing, and verification/validation.

  • Applicant needs experience supporting detailed system level assessment of complex systems, preferably using modeling and simulation techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical experience with BMDS systems and/or modeling preferred.

  • Agile development concepts and tools (Jira, Confluence), preferably with a related certification.

  • Familiarity with ballistic missile defense system (BMDS) models and simulations.

  • Experience in complex system assessment/analysis.

  • Knowledge of system architectures, networks, and operations.

  • Missile defense domain knowledge.

  • Technical experience with BMDS systems and/or modeling preferred.
