Northrop Grumman Space Systems, Advanced Mission Solutions (AMS) Operating Unit (OU) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals providing leading edge capabilities for our Nation's Missile Defense.
The selected candidate will participate in the OU's Leadership Rotational program to provide program management and leadership to various product lines in the areas of Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Test and Warfighter Support, and Algorithm Development. This rotation will provide the candidate with a solid understanding of multiple Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Space Development Agency (SDA) programs in the AMS OU portfolio including the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract (SWDC), the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) National Team, the Modeling & Simulation Contract - Framework (MASC-F), the Hypersonic and Ballistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) and the Prototype Infrared Payload (PIRPL) space-based experiment. The candidate will work directly with other program managers as well as Business Development, Business Management, Contracting, Pricing, Supply-Chain, and other functional teams to support NG programs and growth. This leadership rotation will provide opportunities to participate in new business capture activities, research and development projects, delivery of contract deliverables and reports, planning of projects, risk assessment, and ensuring program requirements are met.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree Engineering, Business, or a related field and 20 years of experience OR Master's degree and 10 years of experience
5 years Supervisory experience
Must have strong leadership and/or management experience
Must have leadership experience in resource management, systems engineering, or systems analysis (or government service/military equivalent in any of these areas)
US citizenship required. Must have a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of the overall organization, direction, and requirements of Space and/or MDA efforts. Knowledge of the DoD program acquisition process. Leadership background in activities within or supporting Department of Defense requirements and acquisition at a Senior Level. Possess an Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Salary Minimum for Colorado location: $150,960
Salary Maximum for Colorado location: $226,440
