Northrop Grumman's Technology Services is seeking an experienced Logistics Planner to support the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado or Ogden, UT.

The selected candidate will support implementation, integration and execution of logistics support tasks in support of the SMORS contract. Tasks may include:

  • Develop processes and procedures to support sustainment of the SMORS systems and equipment

  • Perform obsolescence and DMSMS identification, tracking & analysis

  • Conduct DMSMS predictions

  • Perform and update sparing analyses for the assets including preparation of proposed spare parts list

  • Perform supply Chain management/risk management

  • Implement and Maintain an Item Unique Identification (IUID) process

  • Implement and maintain a Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) program

  • Implement AF Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR) to ensure accurate and safe Technical Manuals (TM's)

  • Perform Purchase Request (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processing and tracking.

  • Perform inventory and tracking of calibration equipment and tools.

  • Ability to travel on occasion to Northrop Grumman and customer locations.

This position may be filled at a higher level based on the qualifications below.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This requisition may be filled as a level 3 or a level 4.

  • 5+ years of related experience with Bachelors; 3+ years with a Masters; OR 10+ years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. (Level 4 requires 9+ years of experience with a Bachelors and 7+ years with a Masters)

  • Working knowledge of product support/logistics acquisition life cycle processes and product development.

  • Must possess excellent technical skills to understand Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) and Life Cycle Cost modeling.

  • U.S. Citizen with an active SECRET security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Logistics experience with USAF/DoD radar systems.

  • Experience with parts obsolescence and DMSMS identification, tracking & analysis

  • Previous experience supporting a Government and/or DoD customer.

  • Experience with reliability centered maintenance.

  • Good researching skills, analytical ability and capacity for planning.
