(C2BMC), simulation & modeling, systems engineering, and target discrimination.
We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator for the C2BMC program, located in Colorado Springs, CO.
This position is the primary point of contact for the management of RHEL-based infrastructure and development systems that includes, but is not limited to, the following: Active directory integration Clearcase, File servers, Application servers, Web servers, and DNS. In addition, this position is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Linux environment to include, but not limited to the following:
-Responsible for ensuring security updates and patches are current
-Responsible for adding, maintaining and deleting user accounts
-Responsible for completing and documenting all required security audits
-Responsible for managing and maintaining interfaces between MS Windows, Linux systems and Unix systems
-Responsible for creating, maintaining and deleting security groups
-Responsible for configuring desktops and servers to meet security requirements Responsible for creating and maintaining server configuration documentation
-Responsible for creating and maintaining Linux, Unix sys admin processes and procedures
Responsible for ensuring all Linux, Unix data is backed up and restoring data as necessary
Responsible for ensuring disaster recovery processes and procedures are accurate and current and are complied with
-Responsible for monitoring server capacity such as: disk, CPU, memory
-Responsible for managing and maintaining servers, to include performance tuning
-Assist with managing all IT resources within the Linux, Unix lab environments, to include software licenses
Responsible for installing, managing and maintaining server based applications such as Clearcase
Responsible for managing and maintaining data storage
Responsible for installing and configuring servers
- Assist with Windows sys admin tasks,user desktop support,desktop moves, adds and changes, hardware asset management, creating and maintaining helpdesk processes and procedures,managing and maintaining network switches and routers, managing and maintaining firewalls, and maintaining network printers
Bachelors degreein a related discipline with 5 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Must posses a Security+ certification.
Excellent team player excellent written and verbal communications skills
5 years of increasing responsibility in multi-system, multi-platform, Systems Administration.
Experience managing a development server infrastructure to include daily operations, security management, corporate compliance, and services administration.
Standard knowledge of Information Protection server compliance requirements for Unix/Linux servers and workstations.
Proven project management, process improvement, and documentation skills.
Technical Skill Required: Linux system administration (Solaris SPARC desirable), Backup and Recovery, Technical writing, Secure Implementations, Linux scripting, Ansible playbook development and management. Desired skills: STIG compliance via Ansible, selinux, OpenShift, OpenStack, Multi Factor Authentication, NetApp OnTap, VMware vSphere 6, Red Hat Certified Expert (RHCE), Red Hat repository administration, QAS/VAS, HP C7000 configuration/update/manage.
