Northrop Grumman's Technology Services is seeking an experienced CAD CAM Engineer to support the Sustainment and Modernization of Radar Sensors (SMORS) program. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO. The SMORS team aids the military services in electronic publishing of technical manuals and engineering data.
This position will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Develop, design, and produce a variety of technical drawings for military publications.
Selects techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects in conformance with established quality standards and specified reproduction medium.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with designers and/or engineers in the design, development to demonstrate the characteristics of the components, modules, or complete products under operating environment.
Coordinate and maintain stringent delivery schedules.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technically related degree
2 years of related CAD/CAM experience
Demonstrated experience and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and relevant technical order data
U.S. Citizen with an active SECRET security clearance is required
Experience authoring in IsoDraw, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience in USAF/DoD radar systems
Experience with USAF Technical Orders
Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform tasks in both an isolated and team environment
