Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Cyber Engineer - Cyber Tools Specialist based out of Colorado Springs, CO.
What You'll get to Do:
This position is responsible for the development and implementation of Cyber TPs in the NT labs, the C2BMC Testbed (CTB), and Ops.
Tasks include: installing, deploying, and unit testing Cyber Products (e.g., HBSS, ACAS, ArcSight, TFA, BigFix, Endgame, KMS, etc.).
Providing redlines to COS engineers and feedback to Cyber Leadership will be required as part of this position''s responsibilities.
Documenting lessons learned, best security engineering practices, and industry standards will be required in daily tasks as well.
The Cyber Tools Specialist will support the Cyber Tools team as part of the Platform and Infrastructure (P&I) ART.
If applicable, please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume.
An active Secret clearance is required.
2 Years with Bachelor's degree in a related field; 6 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
Skillset in technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation.
Must have working knowledge of implementing DISA STIGs and GPOs.
The position requires a strong knowledge of Cyber technology and DoD information assurance system certification.
Requires hands-on experience utilizing patch management, scanning & auditing, security event monitoring, host-based security and multi-factor tools in an integrated lab environment.
Excellent technical document preparation skills and verbal communications are required for presentation of technical Cyber issues and reports to Agile Release Train (ART) leadership.
- Experience with Agile Lifecycle utilizing Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus.
