Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (AS) is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Sr. Principal Project Manager (Level 4 ). This position is located in Clearfield, Utah. Our team is new to Aerospace Structures Business Unit (ASBU) and will be responsible for Business Systems Integration (BSI). BSI is accountable for ensuring that our design and manufacturing technology usage overlays efficiently with our manufacturing business processes, across our many cross-functional departments. We're all about ensuring a great user experience for our workforce. The candidate must demonstrate customer support skills, be able to work collaboratively in cross functional team settings and be able to complete assignments with minimal management supervision. The role requires the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to learn new computer applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Systems Integration, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, etc. to ensure teams are appropriately working tasks in support of Business Systems and Data Science roadmap

  • Maintain integration plans for future technology/roadmap schedules, including Digital Transformation

  • Analyze various business system processes for opportunities to minimize inefficiency

  • Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects

  • Tracks business systems licensing needs for ASBU

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 Years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, systems integration, engineering, project management or statistics OR a Master's Degree with 8 Years experience in data analytics, machine learning, systems integration, engineering, project management, or statistics OR a PhD with 5 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, systems integration, engineering, project management or statistics.

  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system(s)Experience building training plans

  • Experience creating and delivering presentations

  • Experience using the suite Microsoft Office Tools

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance

  • The ability to obtain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An active in-scope DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance

  • Experience with Project Management solutions such as Service Now and Azure DevOps (AzDO)

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment

Salary Range: $92,400 - $138,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
