Northrop Grumman Quality Inspector 2 (Must have current and active secret clearance to be considered) in Clearfield, Utah
Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems Group in Clearfield, Utah is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector III
Strong technical background to review and evaluate system effectiveness across the breadth of products and processes including human space systems, test and evaluation, laboratories, facilities, and commercial products.
Work requires the desire and ability to improve processes in partnership with other organizations.
Experienced skills in manufacturing, processing, testing, hazard analysis, safety, and environmental regulation compliance that supports a hands-on approach to auditing.
This role requires an ability to develop, plan, schedule, complete, analyze, track, and follow-up on process assessments and audits both independently and with groups.
Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance.
Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications.
Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly.
Additional focus will be on seeking systemic root cause solutions and identifying corrective action strategies.
Technical interpretation of requirements and investigation of compliance systems will be required.
Assignments are varied by areas, but will cover the entire scope of the business
Targeted to those eager to contribute and drive system improvements.Professional training and certifications during the job will be identified and encouraged.
Must be able to foster information sharing and transfer of expertise.
Hands-on experience in the aerospace or similar safety critical or technical environment less experience may be acceptable if other qualifications are appropriate.
Demonstrated leadership and diplomacy skills
Experience providing guidance, direction, and methods to work safely and satisfy technical and quality requirements
Demonstrated multi-tasking and problem solving
Computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft products
Training in quality systems management such as ISO standards, AS9100, etc. desired
