Northrop Grumman Aerospace Structures Business Unit (ASBU) has an opening for a Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This will be located in Clearfield, UT and requires an active, in scope DoD Secret clearance.

This position will report to the Assembly Manager. This position oversees and manages ongoing cost center (WBS) operations to include the establishment of schedule, cost and quality metrics and performance. In addition, this role drives a horizontal and vertical integration action between multiple engineering, quality, planning and customer groups. This role establishes work culture and tempo for the station, manages issues, and cost and schedule drivers to achieve an on time and on cost delivery. This role will also entail special assignments on areas of critical importance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 9 years' experience within manufacturing or engineering leadership

  • Active, DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access

  • Proven experience informally leading small teams in a dynamic work environment

  • Experience in working with cross functional teams

  • Demonstrated experience working composite aerospace structures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Special Program Access (SAP)

  • Working Knowledge of Northrop Grumman Production Methods

  • Proven ability to develop relationships and operate in a collaborative team environment

  • Experience with diverse program types

  • Demonstrated understanding of cost and schedule accountability

  • Strong collaboration skills needed to get results within ASBU and with MAS / NGAS
