Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This individual will support Program Management based in Clearfield, UT. The selected candidate will be self-motivated, detail orientated, organized, and able to collaborate while propagating a positive team-working environment. The selected individual will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and other software productivity tools and have the ability to work with minimal supervision while exercising good judgment, demonstrating flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines, managing schedule conflicts and providing excellent follow through.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Serve as an administrative focal point for the Programs Director and direct reports
Create and review documents for correct grammar, spelling, and context
Prepare and disseminate multi-media communication to staff as needed
Organize and support staffing metrics and activities for a large organization
Create and maintain aesthetically pleasing and accurate organizational charts, rosters, and contact lists
Arrange meetings and conferences for staff
Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
Make domestic and international travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
Establish positive relationships and collaborate with other administrative professionals
Record and distribute clear and concise notes during staff meetings
Initiate and organize engagement events such as potlucks, social gatherings, and retirement parties
High School Diploma/GED
4 years of prior administrative experience
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Word)
Experience booking travel via Concur or similar
This position requires an active, in-scope DoD Secret Clearance with periodic review within 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
6 years of previous administrative experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
