Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking Cyber Software Engineers to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Cincinnati, Ohio location. The NGMS Cincinnati team develops new capabilities for our military, intelligence, and other government customers. We solve complex problems designing, developing, and testing cyber hardware and software solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the technical direction and execution of all aspects of offensive cyber engineering.

  • Technical leader for the program engineering team and serves as technical advisor to the program manager.

  • Primary technical point-of-contact to the customer.

  • Coordinate across the program's Engineering team.

  • Ensures that all engineering teams adhere to sound engineering processes, in accordance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 14 years of experience, A master's degree with 12 years of experience or a PhD with 9 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related technical fields.

  • U.S Citizenship is required

  • Active Top Secret Clearance is required

  • Experience leading technical teams and maintaining customer relationships

  • Experience in offensive cyber software/systems development, integration, and test

  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in STEM

  • Domain expertise in offensive cyber development

  • Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

This position is contingent upon transfer of DoD Secret Clearance.

Salary Range: $183,100 - $274,700

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
