We are seeking a cleared or clearable RF Electronics Engineer for a critical role in our growing Hardware Engineering Group as a contributor to the successful completion of projects. Professionals who want to solve the puzzles that make a difference to our nation's security.
Candidates will be responsible for researching and designing RF circuits that go into receiver front ends and transmitters. These may include low noise amplifiers, filters, up and down converters, power amplifiers and possibly power conversion circuitry. The responsibility for any RF circuit will include initial research/design to schematic capture and layout of the circuits, board level testing, integration into the overall system, support of system level testing, and support in the manufacturing of the product for final delivery to a customer. Support of board and system level testing will involve the support or writing of test plans and procedures. Must have good troubleshooting skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience
Working knowledge of RF test equipment
Working knowledge of simulation tools such as ADS and HFSS
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Active TS security clearance
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Proficient with RF test equipment
Proficient with simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, and MATLAB
This position offers the option of a 9/80 work schedule. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
