Are you interested in defining possible? Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a

Systems/Electrical Engineer to join our team!

This position will primarily be located in Chantilly, VA and will support the Falkor Program Team within the SIGINT Technology Center's (STC). The STC is where technology and teamwork come together to meet the unique needs of the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. The STC is comprised of multiple mission-focused programs with projects ranging from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) SIGINT

payload and data link development to OCONUS/CONUS mission/maintenance support. STC tasks include system design, engineering development, system integration, hands-on build and test, field operations and maintenance, training, and production.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support design, integration, test, and document operations of hardware components and high-level systems

  • Support operations and maintenance of fielded SIGINT systems

  • Interface and collaborate with customers, end users, operators, and Field Service Representatives for: On-call pager support, On-call Subject Matter Expertise support, and On-call troubleshooting

  • Develop and execute troubleshooting procedures for use in real time operations, OCONUS test sites, and System Integration Labs (SILs)

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to upgrade and improve developmental and fielded systems to maximize uptime and capabilities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Qualified applicant must have either: 2 Years of experience with a bachelor's degree in STEM OR 0 Years of experience with a master's degree in STEM

  • Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • Strong interdisciplinary problem-solving skills, demonstrated by frequent and successful application of technical standards, theories, concepts, and techniques

  • Knowledge of modern wireless communication systems

  • Knowledge of RF system components & functions

  • Experience with electrical test & measurement equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A background in test, design, and integration

  • Experience with schematic design tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.)

  • Experience with networking and system architecture

  • Experience in cable design and testing

  • Experience in operations and maintenance of SIGINT/EW systems and workflows

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are

designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company

results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Salary Range: $85,000 - $127,400
