The GNC Engineering team is seeking a Staff Guidance Navigation and Controls Engineer located in Chandler, Arizona.

In this role we are seeking a Chief Engineer to support the Minotaur Launch Vehicle Guidance Navigation Control, as a technical subject matter expert. These responsibilities cover all Minotaur Launch missions, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure GNC tasks are completed in accordance with contractual requirements as well as program and GNC needs.

The ideal candidate would have experience in design of missile autopilots as well as prior launch vehicle experience. The role requires the candidate be able to give oversight and technical direction to mission leads. Position requires knowledge of C++, matlab, python , and simulink.

The candidate must be able to schedule and plan utilizing a integrated master schedule.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 14 years of related engineering experience or Master's Degree and 12 years of related engineering experience, or Ph.D. and 9 years of related engineering experience

U.S. citizenship

Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience in developing requirements for seeker discrimination and tracking algorithms

Experience in designing, implementing, and testing seeker discrimination and tracking algorithms

Experience with electronic countermeasures and decoys

Experience with Electro-Optical systems, Focal Plane Arrays, and sensor electronics

Experience with Digital Signal Processing and Kalman Filtering

A basic knowledge of digital signal processing

Salary Range: $139,000 - $208,600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
