Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking an experience Sr. Principal Talent Acquisition Sourcer who will support the Launch and Missile Defense Systems business unit in Chandler, AZ. The primary location for this role is at our new Chandler, AZ facility or may consider a virtual location (remote) within the local Phoenix Metropolitan area.

The Sr. Principal Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for using their professional experience and network to source candidates for requisitions and pipeline. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with client-facing recruiters and hiring managers to understand the hiring needs and build a targeted sourcing plan. This position will target engineering based talent supporting our space products launch and missile defense systems.

Researches market conditions and industry trends as it relates to our competitors to assist in decision-making and marketing positions.

Utilizes professional networks to source candidates for active requisitions

Source candidate from a variety of sources, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn, Entelo, Hiring Solved, Clearancejobs.com, Monsterboard.com, Careerbuilder.com, social media, and search engines. Google Chrome, Google X-ray, advanced Boolean searching strings and niche job boards.

Use social networking mediums (i.e. LinkedIn groups and other online forums) to promote employment brand messaging that drives traffic to open roles by establishing and promoting positive relationships

Track day-today sourcing activity in applicant tracking and candidate management systems.

Supports Events based sourcing, focused invitational events, and targeted career fairs

The ability to attract cleared talent to the company and have a knowledge base of security clearance.

Ensure data integrity of the candidate management database. Utilize Boolean search methodology and other data mining techniques to identify both resumes and candidate profiles.

Extensive data mining of various social media to identify candidate profiles

Support Recruiting team throughout the recruiting process including conducting phone screens to pre-qualify qualified candidates, and maintaining candidate contact

Possesses the business acumen to influence key stakeholders, developing trusting relationships and effective business outcomes. Effectively leverages other functional areas as well as utilizes data and market intelligence when advising the business and executing staffing strategies. Understands and adheres to compliance, diversity and talent acquisition processes. Exhibits the actions and behaviors that demonstrate the Leadership Characteristics.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

10 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Masters

U.S. Citizenship is required

Ability to obtain a security clearance is required

Experience with sourcing technical talent across various engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Cyber, and Physics -Radiation Effects)

Experience sourcing within aerospace and defense industry

Experience with in-house recruiting or staffing agency environment
