The Software Engineering team is hiring for an Aegis Weapon System(AWS) Software Integration Lead position located in Chandler, AZ. This is a Senior Leadership role to integrate Northrop Grumman weapon (sensor and effector) development into the Aegis Weapon System (AWS). Experience in Integrating with AWS system and subsystem requirements, including clear decomposition of Top Level Requirements into current and future AWS sensors and effectors. Experience leading and developing End-To-End simulation within the AWS Framework, with emphasis on driving Northrop Grumman designs to include performance and producibility constraints, effective digital communication upgrades. Strong communication skills to act as liaison between the Missile Defense Agency, Northrop Grumman and Aegis Weapon System lead and other subcontractors to drive optimized solution, drive clear interface requirements and contract details.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 9 years of related engineering experience or Master's Degree and 7 years of related engineering experience, or Ph.D. and 4 years of related engineering experience
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
Aegis Weapon System(AWS) Software Integration
Experience with software project leadership
Software development experience
Experience in embedded real-time software requirements and interface development processes, integration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance
Experience leading and developing End-To-End simulation within the AWS Framework
Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS) environments including LynxOS, VxWorks, Integrity or other equivalent RTOS
Familiarity with DOORS (Requirement Management System), Jira, BitBucket, Confluence, Cameo (architecture)
Experience with space craft or launch systems software development
Experience interfacing with customers, Program management, and AWS contractors
Integration experience within multi domain real time embedded simulations platoforms
Salary Range: $112,000 - $168,000
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
