Northrop Grumman Sr. Principal Amphibious Operations Planner in Camp H M Smith, Hawaii

Are you looking for an exciting new career? Northrop Grumman has opportunities for Principal & Sr. Principal Amphibious Operations Planner supporting MARFORPAC at Camp Smith, Hi. You will provide coordination, integration, and synchronization planning and execution of technical services and subject matter expertise to MARFORPAC in support of joint and multi-lateral interoperability, and continuity in application of new concepts, technology, training, and associated efforts. Additionally, you will support the USMC to increases effectiveness and maximizes efficiency within MARFORPAC amphibious planning and operations and across PACOM and component commands amphibious efforts, including development of partner nation capabilities, specifically the development of partner nation amphibious forces.

Qualifications:

This is a dual level requisition that can be filled at either level depending on the level of experience of the chosen candidate

Principal Amphibious Operations Planner Basic Requirements

  • Secret security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, may consider an additional 4 years work experience in lieu of degree

  • Minimum 6 years' experience, with proven experience on a general staff at the Action Officer or Staff Principle level with thorough understanding of joint service force structure and service capabilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills for interaction with senior military and civilian counterparts

  • US citizenship and valid US passport

Sr. Principal Amphibious Operations Planner

  • Secret security clearance

  • Minimum 10 years' experience, with proven experience on a general staff at the Action Officer or Staff Principle level with thorough understanding of joint service force structure and service capabilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills for interaction with senior military and civilian counterparts

  • US citizenship and valid US passport

Preferred Skills:

  • Top Secret / SCI

  • Prior experience serving on the MARFORPAC or INDOPACOM staff

  • Understands the Marine Corp Planning Process

  • Staff College Graduate, JPME Level II, Joint Qualified or equivalent
