Northrop Grumman is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Policy and Strategy Analyst 3 for our Buffalo, NY campus. The employee will be responsible for leading and supporting a variety of activities that directly support the Quality Management System including the following:
Internal Auditing Program, ISO 9001, AS9100, Continuous Improvement, Calibration Management System, Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and the Lessons Learned program.
This position requires auditing all process areas of the organization to enforce requirements and meet specifications. The individual will mentor process owners to implement processes to support the Quality Management System. The candidate will develop, maintain and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, and processes.
The individual will be a project lead on specific efforts relating to Continuous Improvement and Corrective Actions and may work closely with upper management to ensure the scope and direction of each effort is on schedule and meeting all requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast- paced, cross-functional results oriented climate and quickly get to the root cause of nonconformities to provide technical solutions and corrective actions to a wide range of complex and difficult problems.
The candidate must be adept at coaching and leading cross functional teams throughout the organization to integrate process engineering solutions into team action plans supporting organizational goals and objectives.
The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of multi discipline team experience and possess outstanding analytical, presentation, communication and facilitation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline plus 5 years of related experience.
Team facilitation experience and Process Auditing Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Detailed knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and CMMI.
Experience with TipQA
Experience with Sharepoint
Strong organizational skills
Strong public speaking skill
