The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment where he/she will interact with other various engineering disciplines to deliver system solutions to our customers through supporting the integration and test of complex, multi-threat, hi-fidelity stimulators within theOpen Air Range Training product line.The selected candidate will become a member of Northrop Grumman's Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) department in Buffalo, NY.
Daily activities and expectations include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accepts ownership of a given test phase.
Assistswith the generation of test plans and test procedures.
Performs complex test measurements through the use of various RF test equipment.
Actively documents and perform troubleshooting ofnon-conformances.
Executes test procedures for components, subassemblies, and completed systems.
May travel to domestic and international customer locations to support installation, and site acceptance testing, of systems following completion of factory acceptance testing.
The Engineering Test Technician mustpossess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to workclosely with an integratedprogram team, and to effectively lead troubleshooting efforts.
Thesuccessful candidate willbe a highly motivated self-starter who demonstrates the ability to work independently and drive progress forward with little guidance.This is an hourly position.

6 years of experience in a technicalrelated role; oran Associate's degree in atechnical/engineering field plus 4 years of experience in a technical related role.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to determine/identify sequence of operations or action to be taken.
Ability to determine priorities to achieve the required goal on a short and long term basis.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or higher level security clearance.
Experience in an RF Technician, Test Technician, or Engineering Technician role.
Experience making measurements with commercially available test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and RF Power Meters.
Experience with radar threat signals, Electronic Warfare (EW), and Electronic Countermeasures
Experience interfacing with program teams, clients, or end users.
Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret or higher level security clearance.
