Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 . This position is an in-office role located in Boulder, CO with potential travel to Azusa, CA as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all subcontracts, material, and services content for a collection of Programs across multiple Operating Units (OUs).

  • Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.

  • Leads supply chain Program execution and is accountable for labor resource planning, material cost, financial forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.

  • Manages specific key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, PR to PO placement, product non-conformance counts, supplier on-boarding cycle time, and develops metrics to drive visibility and efficiency.

  • Develops the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) for a large volume of proposal activities.

  • Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.

  • Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

  • Reviews complex subcontract purchase order documentation for compliance to Northrop Grumman policies and procedures and Government requirements.

  • Mentors team members based on extensive knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and AS9100 requirements including Cost Type Award Fee and Incentive Fee contracting methodology.

  • Engages with subcontractors and suppliers to drive performance improvements and root cause corrective actions (RCCAs) as required.

  • Enforces Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and drives collaboration with Business Management function to ensure favorable supplier financial performance.

  • Support critical Customer meetings and data calls as required.

The successful candidate will also lead a team of professional level subcontract administrators, buyers, and supply chain planners, to include training and performance management. Also responsible for monthly sales forecasting accuracy for the Operating Unit(s).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10 + years of related experience; 8 + years with a Master's

  • Active Secret, TS, or SCI clearance preferred but not required to start

Salary Range: $138,100 - $207,100

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
