Northrop Grumman Mission Systems s is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Industrial Security Analyst (Level 3) to work in our Bethpage, NY location.

You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable security regulations and leading or providing support for various Special Access Programs (SAPs). This position would support our Bethpage, NY location.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supporting a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), IC Technical Specification (IC Tech Spec) for ICD/ICS 705, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.

  • Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance.

  • Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction or serve as a Data Transfer Agent.

  • Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).

  • Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support to include but not limited to review and process required documentation in support of the SAP nomination processes; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings; access, review and submit clearance/access information using DISS, JADE, and JADS and other information systems; maintain PERSEC databases in accordance with customer tracking requirements; maintain and operate document control register/database; process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control.

  • Provide facility security administration, documentation, and support: implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); conduct SAP security program self-inspections; manage inventory of accountable holdings in accordance with the policies and procedures; prepare and submit status reports to applicable government agencies; administer classified destruction program; serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility, including electronic data transfer; maintain suspense copies of all material transported via courier and perform follow-up, as needed.

  • Pursue and obtain customer accreditation for Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) in accordance with SAP DoD Manuals, IC Tech Spec, and other government requirements (physical security, facility security, and access control, network and IT security, cryptography, personnel, etc.).

  • Develop, coordinate, and submit for approval physical security documentation including Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC) and TEMPEST Addendums as applicable.

  • Manage and maintain UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS).

  • Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.

  • Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on actions(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program.

  • Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.

  • Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP accesses through queries to government security databases and systems.

  • Perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO) as required.

  • Generate and/or review Program Access Request (PAR) packages; ensure all required information is included including currency of information, completeness of forms, and inclusion of required signatures. Generate Program Indoctrination Agreements (PIA), provide to briefer/debriefer, and/or execute briefs/debriefs on behalf of the government security team.

  • Maintain accountability of classified material.

  • Manage and Maintain access control using Lenel.

  • Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents.

  • Manage Government-furnished equipment and materials.

Basic Qualifications (Level 2):

  • Bachelor's degree and three years related experience or Master's degree with one year related experience. An Additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Organized and efficient at time management.

  • Computer and desktop Microsoft Office software products experience (Word, Excel etc…).

  • Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/ spreadsheets.

Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

  • Bachelor's degree and six years related experience or Master's degree with four year related experience. An Additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Organized and efficient at time management.

  • Computer and desktop Microsoft Office software products experience (Word, Excel etc…).

  • Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/ spreadsheets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) experience.

  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.

  • DCID 6/4 or ICD 704 eligibility in DISS.

  • Personnel and Program Security Experience.

  • Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.

  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.

  • Experience with SIMS, DISS, and JADE.

Salary Range: $70,200 - $105,200

Salary Range 2: $86,300 - $129,500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
