Northrop Grumman Software, Principal Software Engineer in Bellevue, Nebraska

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking Software Engineers and Principal Software Engineersto join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. Our Bellevue, NE location is seekingmultiple Software Engineers or Principal Software Engineersto join our team with multiple internal program opportunities. The candidate should have experience with structured software development methodologies and modern software test tools and techniques. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, and will be responsible for developing software, participating in acceptance criteria development, creating scripts and utilizing COTS tools to automate testing, documenting instructions the wiki, participating in integration activities.

Minimum Qualifications (Eng 2):

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • DoD Secret security clearance eligible

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and at least 2 years of experience in the Software/information technology industry

  • Experience with Java and JavaScript or C and C++ development

  • Experience communicating with customers, other technical teams, proactively identify and resolve issues, collect and refine requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and coordinate a product strategy

  • Ability to work on cross-function Scrum team focused on quality and capability delivery

Advanced Qualifications (Principal Eng 3):

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • DoD Secret security clearance eligible

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and at least7 years of experience in the Software/information technology industry

  • Experience communicating with customers, other technical teams, proactively identify and resolve issues, collect and refine requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and coordinate a product strategy

  • Ability to work on cross-function Scrum team focused on quality and capability delivery

  • Experience with Java and JavaScript or C and C++ development

  • Understanding of distributed version control

  • Experience with Linux

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery

  • Experience working with web services

  • Experience with Test automation practices

  • Familiarity with Secure software development practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret or Top Secret Clearance

  • Understanding of distributed version control

  • Familiarity with Linux, orSELinux

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming)

  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle

  • Familiarity with Junit, Selenium, Karma, and/or Protractor

  • Familiarity with Ansible

  • Familiarity with Mercurial

  • Familiarity with Apache

  • Familiarity with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Fisheye, Crucible, Confluence)

  • Familiarity with Fortify, BurpSuite

  • Familiarity with SonarQube

  • Familiarity with web JS frameworks (such as Angular or Bootstrap)

  • Familiarity with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Vagrant, and/or Docker

  • Familiarity using Open Geospatial Consortium standards (WMS, WFS, KML)

  • Familiarity installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle WebLogic

  • Familiarity with VMware, Citrix

  • Familiarity with LDAP

  • Familiarity with Authentication and single sign-on Oracle Access Manager (OAM) and Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)
