Northrop Grumman Principal/Sr. Principal Systems/Software Integrator 3/4 - TS/SCI in Bellevue, Nebraska
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is mid to senior level systems/software integrator and multi-disciplined IT professional who will be responsible for the successful transition of a legacy intelligence application to upgraded hardware platforms, allowing for the continued operations of the application on the production environment. Tasking will include investigating and documenting the existing architecture, data sources, data flow, software processing, and customers of the data; reporting on potential issues and making recommendation for improvements with the architecture, software, and data flow; performing minor software and script updates in support of upgrading to new hardware and operating systems; generating documentation and testing in support of the customer's Risk Management Framework (RMF+) process to obtain the required Approval to Operate (ATO) for the upgrade environment; and supporting system configuration and data migration of the existing system to the new hardware.
The candidate must be a self-starter, have strong verbal and written skills, be willing to work independently and interface the customer. The candidate must have a Top Secret/SCI clearance and must have or be in the process of obtaining a Security+ certification. Previous work on other intelligence programs is desired and candidates willing to work at the government facility in Bellevue, Nebraska are preferred.
This position may be filled at a level 3 or 4 depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
Bachelor's 5 years of related experience (STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, Math highly preferred), 3 years and a Master's Degree, 9 years of total experience may be considered
Bachelor's 9 years of related experience (STEM Science, Technology, Engineering, Math highly preferred), 7 years and a Master's Degree, 13 years of total experience may be considered
Technical experience demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
Ability to investigate and document system architectures
Experience with software development approaches
Experience performing system and database administration in a Linux environment
Experience working with customers of software systems
Experience working on systems with multiple security domains.
Possess active TS/SCI
Willing to go through Polygraph process
Experience working in virtualized environments like AWS
Experience with software and script development
Experience generating technical documentation in support of obtaining an ATO
Familiar with government RMF+ process
Familiar documenting and testing system security controls.
