Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator. This position will be located in Bellevue, Nebraska and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This position can be staffed at either the Principal or the Sr. Principal level depending on the candidate's experience. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You'll Get To Do:
Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
Assist in creating solutions for hardware configurations
Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
Performs system administration for publication software and publishing systems.
Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
Develops and recommends corrective actions.
May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Principal Software Engineer: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD;
Sr. Principal Software Engineer: A minimum 9 years of related experience with a Bachelor's in Science; 7 years with a Master's; 4 years with a PhD
Active DoD Secret clearance with a re-investigation date occurring in the last 5.5 years.
CompTIA Security+ Certification
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Top Secret/SCI clearance with a re-investigation date occurring in the last 5.5 years.
Experience with VMware
Knowledge of DevSecOps principals
Experience with AIX Operating Systems
Agile methodology experience
Experience in Shell scripting - bash, ruby, perl
Experience with Chef automation
Experience with Windows Enterprise server
Experience with LogRhythm
