Northrop Grumman Cyber Software Engineer 2 / 3 - Java, RDBMS & SQL in Beavercreek, Ohio

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking four Cyber Software Engineers 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Beavercreek, Ohio.

The Northrop Grumman office in Beavercreek, OH, has responsibility for analysis, design, development, test, integration, and maintenance of the DoD applications under a contract with Air Force Materiel Command. Application operates on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platform. The web application executes within a JBoss Web Application server using JSP, JavaScript, and Struts technology for the presentation layer and J2EE in the business logic. Persistent data resides

in an Oracle database.

Basic Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either a level 2 or a level 3.

BQs for a Software Engineer 2 are:

B.S. degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Information Systems or relatedfield and 2 years of relevant work experience including 1 year of Java OR a M.S. degree in Computer Science,or related field including 1 year of Java work experience. Experience in lieu of a college degree will be considered. 4 additional years of applicable experience required without a degree

BQs for a Software Engineer 3 are:

B.S. degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, Information Systems or related field and 5 years of relevant work experience including 1 year of Java, or Master's Degree with 3 years' experience and at least 1 year of Java, OR a

Ph.D. degree with applicable emphasis on Object Oriented development and 0 years of relevant work experience. Experience in lieu of a college degree will be considered. 4 additional years of applicable experience required without a degree

Experience developing highly complex applications with Java, JSPs and J2EE

Experience with Relational DBMS and SQL

Must obtain a CASP or equivalent certification within six months of starting work in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M,

Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program

Interim Secret clearance or higher

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
