Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD.

The successful candidate will be collaborative, open, transparent, and team-oriented with a focus on team empowerment & shared responsibility, flexibility, continuous learning, and communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Build strong relationships with supplier organization
• Understand supplier health (financial, environmental, socioeconomic, etc.)
• Understand financial impact of open orders
• Understand and manage open orders to support factory needs
• Collaborate with appropriate parties to close open action items
• Verify accurate and up to date information is available to all parties
• Hold monthly performance reviews with suppliers collaborating with the procurement and supplier performance teams.
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must possess:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited institution
Three+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing with a Bachelor's Degree, One year with a Master's Degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Previous Supply chain, Business management, Finance or Customer Service experience
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products including strong Excel skills
• Proficient in the use of SAP
