Roles and Responsibilities:
As an embedded member of the antenna sub-system Integrated Product Team, serve as the primary technical liaison between the customer/systems team and the hardware (HW) design teams
Maintain awareness of the key and driving requirements, how the design meets those requirements, and ensure that interface definitions are conformed to or updated proactively.
Assist the systems team in the creation and maintenance of requirements derived from the system level to the array component level including traceability to manufacturing process and screening test requirements.
Lead verification and sell-off planning as required for design updates / new technology insertions.
Maintain awareness of the factory flow and work with the HW design team to track and resolve any issues. If an root-cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation is performed, this person would be the SEIT representative for the RCCA.
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline with 9 years of related experience, (7 years with a Masters, 4 years with a PhD)
7+ years' RF design experience including antenna component modeling and simulation
Active DoDTop Secret security clearance with SAP eligibility
12+ years RF design experience
Experience modeling system performance using the radar range equation
Radar system concept of operation with experience with associated system LRUs (REX, Processor, etc)
Experience in antenna range test and system integration
Power supply / conversion design experience
Experience with requirements management using DOORS 9.6 / NextGen
Experience with descriptive modeling using UML/SysML in IBM Rhapsody (or equivalent)
