Design creative and flexible HW/SW solutions with a motivated team of experts
HW Design Examples:
Electronic Circuit Design
Power/Cooling Monitor and Control
Interface Panel Layouts and Interconnections
SW Design Examples:
Instrument Drivers and Utilities
Real Time, Pre and Post Processing Data Analytics
Firmware Design for simulation and control
Actively support the investigation, resolution and documentation of product anomalies
Understanding Design to Cost
This is a Dual Band Requisition, candidates will be considered based on the BasicQualifications below.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM discipline
For Band 3 , B.S. in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceor M.S. in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
For Band 4 , B.S. in Engineering with a minimum of 9 years relevant industry experienceor M.S. in Engineering with a minimum of 7 years relevant industry experience
The ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics and block diagrams
Mix of hardware and software skills
Experience with software development, including experience with C/C++ Programming
Background and working knowledge in RF test and measurement concepts
Experience with test & measurement equipment
Experience with HW/SW integration
Effective verbal and written communication
Ability to obtain and maintain an active secret clearance, U.S. Citizenship is a pre-requisite.
Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline
Experience with LabWindows CVI, C / C++ programming
Experience with schematic design tools (e.g. Mentor Graphics, Zuken, etc.)
PCB design and layout is a plus
Experience with hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware
Hands-on experience with digital, analog & RF test equipment
Experience with FPGA programming/Firmware design experience
