Typical Roles and Responsibilities:

The Project Lead manages the effort to provide test solutions for development and production programs

  • Leading cross-functional team during the proposal, design, manufacture and delivery of new products

  • Participating in fact-finding/negotiations

  • Developing and executing to project schedules

  • Overseeing funding authorizations and development of budget

  • Overseeing Product Development Plans

This position is a Dual Band Position, candidates will be considered at both Levels T3 or T4 per the requirements below.

Basic Qualifications - Band 3:

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related STEM discipline with 5 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 3 years or experience

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented

  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and responsive

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance, an interim clearance isrequired to start. U.S. Citizenship is a Pre-requisite.

Basic Qualifications Band 4:

  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering or related STEM discipline with 9 years of experience or a Master's Degree with 7 years or experience

  • Candidate must have a clear understanding of Earned Value and SPI/CPI in determining the critical path of a project, EAC and experience preparing workload forecasts; and have demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills in a

team environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented

  • Proactive and responsive

-Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance, an interim clearance required to start. U.S. Citizenship is a Pre-requisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Management

-Experience as Technical lead, Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, or other demonstrated leadership role to a program office

  • Basic understanding of the Design, Manufacturing and Test process

  • Problem-solving experience in a team environment

  • Fluency with developing and executing project schedules
