Northrop Grumman Mgr Programs 3 in Baltimore, Maryland

Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems is looking for a Mgr Programs 3 to support the Capability Maturation & Deployment team. This position can be located in Baltimore, MD, McLean, VA, Rolling Meadows, IL, San Diego, CA, Woodland HIlls, CA, or Huntsville, AL.

Roles and responsibilities:

Managing Capabilities Maturation and Development IR&D and product development programs.

Manages all phases of programs from inception through completion and including the cost, schedule and technical performance for all activities on the programs.

Manages the development and maintenance of product road maps including mapping to LRSP and mapping technology insertion.

Responsible for establishing strong relationships and maintaining open communications with customers, vendors and stake holders.

Will be required to perform executive level briefings with executive leadership.

Acts as the primary point of contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with leadership and stake holders.

Establishes staffing plan for programs, performance milestones, monitors and manages adherence to master schedules and earned value plans, identifies program problems and drives solutions.

Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from various functional areas.

Position will require domestic travel.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years', or Master's and 8 years' experience supporting Government contracts and/or project management in other industries

Experience leading high performance teams

Demonstrated communication skills

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Demonstrated ability to lead a team to be productive in the face of significant technical uncertainty/immaturity

Proficiency with MS Office applications

Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in STEM

Proficiency in financial and contractual concepts, strong presentation skills, technical/engineering proficiency
