The Mission Systems' Electrical Design Technology team is a leader in providing innovative solutions for difficult RF and Multi-functional electronics with a variety of customers from Undersea to Outer Space to Cyberspace. If you haven't done IC or module design before, this is a great opportunity for you to expand your capabilities working with our expert design team. Your designs will encompass a variety of RF components including: power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers,
Mixers, oscillators, filters, ADCs, DACs, optical converters and IC packages.
You will work on a collaborative team of engineers from systems and software to mechanical, manufacturing and hardware test to ensure successful product development and transfer to production.
This position is located in the Central Maryland Technology Corridor that offers the opportunity to live in a dynamic urban, suburban or waterfront areas with easy commutes and minutes to Annapolis, Washington DC or Downtown Baltimore.
2+ years RF/Microwave Design experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Active Secret clearance
Up to 10% travel
Experience with Agilent ADS or other circuit simulation tools
Experience with HFSS, Momentum, or other electromagnetic simulators
Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
Previous circuit design experience for frequencies above 10GHz
Top Secret clearance or SSBI/SCI
Experience with Cadence for IC development
