Typical Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the maintenance of Transmit/Receive databases for multiple programs

  • Prepare timely reports using MATLAB showing trends and history of key parameters

  • Support and maintain performance metrics and report status to management

  • Develop/Modify existing test code for improvements and optimization of current methods for data collection and product optimization

  • Documentation of MATLAB software used in collection and reporting

  • Support the investigation and resolution of all test and product anomalies

  • Participate in meetings with a collaborative team improve product yield

  • Sensitivity to schedule as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures (Command Media) is imperative

This position is an Engineer2 or 3 Band Position. Candidates will be considered at both Levels Engineer 2 or Engineer 3 based on years of experience.

Basic Qualifications for a Band 2:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience witha B.S in Engineering or 0 years' experience with a Master's Degree

  • The ability to read and interpret test specifications, schematics and block diagrams for Transmit/Receive Modules

  • Mix of hardware and software skills

  • Test background

  • Software skills to, include experience with MATLAB and Oracle/SQL

  • Software skills to, include experience with C/C++ Programming

  • Software configuration

  • Background and working knowledge in RF theory and concepts

  • Candidate should be self-directed, organized, team oriented individual with the ability to effectively communicate and work with design engineering, system engineering and program office.

  • Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain SAP program clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline

  • Experience with LabWindows CVI

  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) design and Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

  • Experience with hands-on troubleshooting with electrical hardware

  • Active Secret/TS/SCI clearance
