Northrop Grumman in Azusa, CA is seeking a qualified system engineer with a strong background inElectrical Design, Test and Integration to supporta payload proposal in implementing several new payloads over the next several years and engineering design and analysis for Program of Record.The qualified candidate must demonstrate a strong back ground indesign integration, Electrical testing and integration and troubleshooting. The selected candidate is expected to perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and system trade for integrated spacecraft/payload system. The candidate is also expected to performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware andinterface specifications.
Bachelor's Degreein Engineering, Physics, Mathematics plus5 or more years of engineering experience.
3or more years of professional experience in the area ofElectrical Designand/or Integration and Test.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Advanced Degreewith a concentration inElectrical Design.
Experience with PSPICE or other electrical simulation and modeling software is highly desired
Experience with Integration and Test.
Experience Troubleshooting and leading failure investigations.
Proficiency with Mathworks MATLAB and Simulink
Familiarity with commonly used tools in both MS Windows & Unix environments.
Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
