Northrop Grumman Engineer Systems Test 2 in Azusa, California
The Azusa Missile Defense System Exerciser (MDSE) program has an immediate need for an Operations Lead. The candidate will be responsible for leading the day to day MDSE Lab Test operations. This includes ensuring the MDSE operations team follows extensive test process and procedures required to properly execute of Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS), Ballistic Missile Defense System Overhead Persistent Infrared Architecture (BOA), and Enterprise Sensor lab (ESL) mission elements in the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Ground Test events. Additionally, they will regularly coordinate the execution of standalone tests and system of system regression tests to validate the correct integration of the mission elements with multiple MDSE Driver Modeling and Simulation tools within the MDSE test architecture including OLGASim, FOXSim, and RT-RDSIM. The candidate will provide on the fly leadership in a live operations type environment, including VoIP communications with other elements and real-time operational communications with other team members distributed across the country, to provide coordinated communications and situational awareness.
Bachelor's Degree in a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Systems Test
Current DoD Secret clearance must be held and maintained. U.S. Citizenship is required and clearance musthave been active within the last 2 years.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
Experience with MDSE program
Demonstrated written and oral presentation skills
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OS
Experience with MDA Ground Test Execution
Experience with operation of SBIRS, BOA, and ESL Mission Software
Master's Degree in a S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) Field
