Northrop Grumman Aerospace Sector is seeking an Analog, Mixed Signal, Power supply Design Engineer to join our talented team. The qualified applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman's Hardware Engineering Department. He/She will be reporting to Manager of Analog & Power group and will work on various challenging space projects. Electronics design work involved will be designing novel architecture which includes but not limited to schematic, layout, analysis, testing, and reliability. Candidate will be providing world class affordable and innovative electronics solutions for Military and Civil Space product domains. This position will be located in Azusa, CA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

  • 9years with Bachelor or 7 years with Master of electrical engineering experience in designing, developing, and testing circuits

  • Experiencein system architect,defining specifications and validation plan

  • Experience with software tools for schematic, layout and circuit analysis

  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronics designs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiencyin Power supply designs.Linear/Switch Mode up to 5 kW.

  • Experience with motor control, motor drives, closed loop/Phase Lock Loopcontrols

  • Experiencein Analog to Digital conversion, multiplexing, and signal conditioning

  • Experience infilter design, current limiting circuitry, video/Power/Parametric amplifiers.

  • Experience with Data Acquisition systems, Communication systems

  • Troubleshooting skills using space born equipment's

  • Knowledge ofworst case analytical methods and applicabletools.

  • Leadingsmall project teamto successfully complete a multi channel data acquisition/signal conditioning board design

  • Active secret security clearance
