Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Security Coordinator 4 to support our Aurora, CO facilities.

Job Duties:

Manages the campus access control systems and supports many campus physical security functions. Oversees the production/issuance of employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control. Maintains lock and key records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas. Handles classified shipments and maintains incoming and outgoing shipment logs. Verifies accuracy of information prior to granting facility access. Maintains controlled security documents and information.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED and 6 years additional education and/or experience in Security Administration

  • Active Top Secret Clearance OR active SCI clearance.

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Lenel access control system and camera monitoring systems.

  • 4+ years of security administrative support experience within the IC.

  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM and applicable sponsor procedures.

  • Knowledgeable and able to answer questions; provide security administrative procedure and policy.

  • Experience working with customer-based security components.

  • Basic COMSEC understanding.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers and across organizational elements.

  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.

  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Active SCI access.
